“Three years into my ten year NFL career, I decided that I needed to take my training to the next level. Markus and I devised a plan that would extend my playing days. I firmly believe that without his help, I would not have played as long or had the success that I did. Through a combination of diet and training, I became leaner, more flexible, faster and stronger. Markus took me to a level of training that I could not have achieved on my own. Today, five years after I retired from football, I continue to use what I learned from Markus in my daily training.” -Brad Daluiso

One of Markus' favorite success stories involves a man by the name of Syed Sarmad. In the mid 1980's, Mr. Sarmad was involved in a car accident in Palm Springs, California. The doctors at UCLA Medical Center miraculously saved his legs from amputation, however he was told his running days were over. Markus started training Syed in 1993 and shortly after, Syed stopped relying on his walker. For the next three years, Syed focused intensely on improving his functionality. By 1996, Syed achieved the impossible, he ran. As a result of his amazing achievement, Syed was chosen by the US Olympic Committee to be a torch bearer representing San Diego, California. The Olympic torch was held high and strong by Mr. Sarmad for 1.5 miles as Markus proudly ran next to him. The old cliché of "a picture says a thousand words" definitely applies here.
"I began training with Markus Heon my junior year of high school (early 2001). I started seeing improvements in my performance on the basketball court almost immediately. He improved my endurance, agility, vertical jump, strength, and all around athleticism. Since beginning training with Markus I have won two state titles (high school), awarded all-freshman team honors, and first team honors in the Big East conference. Bottom line you will get results will Markus if you are willing to put in the time and effort."
